Join Lexi Smith & Jirod Webb at The Maitri Retreat House in Waynesville, NC on June 19 - June 23, for an all inclusive yoga retreat.

You will experience daily yoga classes, hiking excursions to beautiful mountains and inspiring waterfalls, time to unplug in nature, cozy accommodations nestled into the mountains, and nourishing meals cooked by your in house private chef.

This all inclusive experience is limited to only 6-8 attendees. It is an intimate retreat setting that will leave you feeling deeply cared for.

Two Daily Yoga Classes

Each yoga offering is guided or co-led by Lexi and Jirod. The intimate group size of our retreat is designed to help you deepen your yoga practice.

Our retreat is open to all levels of practice, including those who are new to yoga. Our yoga classes can be easily modified.

Each morning you will move through a grounding meditation or breath work, in combination with a vinyasa flow. Classes will be paired with upbeat music and inspiring themes.

We will honor the rhythms of rest in the evening with a blend of restore, yin yoga, yoga nidra, and sound healing.

Connect to M

ama Nature.

Experience Two daytime Hiking Excursions

Let your inner child roam free. We will journey through the magic of the Smoky Mountains, taking in the scenic views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding National Forests.

You will hike rewarding trails that offer panoramic views of the beautiful mountains, where we will have moments of pause to take it all in. You will also hike to inspiring waterfalls and have an opportunity to connect with the elements.

We take care of all of your transportation to and from excursions. There will also be plenty of refreshments for the group and a delicious and scenic picnic lunch included in your adventure.

Nourishment

You will be nourished daily by your in house private chef and crew. Included in your retreat stay is coffee & tea service, three delicious vegetarian meals each day, healthy snacks, gourmet picnic lunches, inspiring mocktails, and refreshments.

We like to joke that you come for the yoga but will leave raving about the food. The level of love and care that goes into our retreat experience is unmatched.

We are happy to accommodate all allergies and food sensitivities.

Remember your life is a ritual.

Ritual is a way of life at The Maitri Retreat House.

Each retreat experience is weaved with intention and attention to the wisdom of each season, the setting of mama nature, the sacred practices shared, and mindfulness of each individual in the group.

Our upcoming retreat is held during the summer solstice. The mountains alive with vegetation, the rivers and waterfalls roaring and full, the sun potent and inspiring, and the energy of celebration and play will be at the forefront of our retreat.

Through our classes and during our ceremonial workshop, you will be given an opportunity to set new intentions, celebrate your growth, and reflect on changes you would like to integrate into the next season.

Return To Rest & Receive.

Rest

Every practice is optional during your retreat experience. Your presence and participation is valued but by no means an obligation. You chose the pace. If you’d prefer to rest, chill, or go for a walk during any of our offerings you are welcome to honor your needs.

One of our days together will be a day of sacred rest. We will remain on property all day. You will be invited to move slowly, dilly dally, read your favorite book, take in the views, journal, and unwind however you please.

Maitri (my-tree) is a Sanskrit word that means Friendship, loving kindness, and goodwill. We are passionate about building community and creating nurturing environments for connection.

The people are what truly make our retreats so special and each retreat group has its own unique energy. The bonds and relationships formed during these intimate experiences are inspirational for years to come.
